Daniel McAdams is a President at Andiamo, a staffing firm that places engineers and go-to-market professionals through three lines of business: recruitment process outsourcing, permanent placement, and a consulting division that places contractors. Their clients run from Fortune 500 technology, payments and retail companies down to seed-stage startups.
About half of Andiamo’s new business comes from reputation and referral. The other half has to be built. That half carries hard targets: 136 new client meetings and 36 signed agreements every quarter, worked by a fixed team of BDRs, account executives and account managers.
They had already been through two data providers to support it.
ZoomInfo was first, and the problem was economics. “We were using one-tenth of the capabilities for ten times the price that we should have paid.”
Apollo lasted longer and failed differently. Nothing broke. There was no outage, no bad migration, no day the data disappeared. It degraded.
“Some of their enrichment data just started deteriorating.”

The mobile numbers went first, and mobiles are one of only two inputs the outbound floor actually runs on. “Not only having good email addresses that are verified, but also good mobile numbers. If those aren’t good, our BDRs don’t have the ability to reach out to people.”
The math was unforgiving. Connect rate sat at 3%, which meant a BDR could dial for an hour and hold two conversations. Bounce rate was roughly double where it is today. In Q2 2025, the team booked 20 meetings against a quarterly target well over a hundred.
Daniel is careful about how far he’ll push the criticism. “Maybe Apollo has gotten better on email addresses, or maybe they haven’t. I don’t know.” What he does know is what his own numbers did.
How Daniel scores them: three providers, eighteen months
| Provider | Score |
|---|---|
| ZoomInfo | 3 / 10 |
| Apollo | 6 / 10 |
| Prospeo | 9 / 10 |
“I’ve never ever given anything a 10. So a nine is as close to a 10 as anyone gets.”
Daniel McAdams, Andiamo
Andiamo’s head of sales enablement ran the evaluation. Bounce rate was measured, the way it always is. But the criterion that decided it is one most buyers never think to apply.
“If you look at a Fortune 500 company, there’s going to be more enriched data. Compared to a startup, there’s going to be much less, especially newly funded companies who don’t have a lot of tenure in their population. That’s what pushed us to Prospeo. The ability to have data on the smaller, newer companies.”
Daniel McAdams, Andiamo
Every provider can return a VP at Amazon. Those records are enriched everywhere, so testing on them separates nobody. A large share of Andiamo’s target list is companies that didn’t exist five years ago, and that half of the list is where the three vendors stopped looking alike.
Three things changed:
Adoption was the part Daniel expected to fight, and didn’t. “Salespeople do not like to use technology. When I introduce a tool to them, the Chrome extension into HubSpot, it has to work perfectly or else they’ll stop using it.” It worked. “It was easy to use and it worked perfectly from the start, which meant I had very easy user adoption. There was no friction when we rolled it out.”
The numbers over eighteen months:
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Mobile connect rate | 3% | 12% |
| Data accuracy | ~84% | ~99% |
| Bounce rate | 2x current | Cut roughly in half |
| Booked meetings per quarter | 20 (Q2 2025) | 124 (Q2 2026) |
| BDRs and AEs | Unchanged | Unchanged |
| CSV transfers between systems | Routine | Eliminated |
The connect rate has held. Eighteen months on it still runs at 12%, moving a point or two with the data coming in, and it hasn’t slipped back.
Daniel is direct about what else was in play. Andiamo also runs Clay, Nooks, Signalist and a dedicated anti-bounce tool, all added over the same period.
“I’m not going to attribute all of that success to Prospeo. But it being one of the major changes we made obviously had an impact on our ability to reach out to the right prospects at the right time with the right data.”
Daniel McAdams, Andiamo
What didn’t change is the part that makes the meeting number land. “It’s literally the same number of BDRs, same number of account executives. Nothing has changed other than the systems we’re using.”
Andiamo is adding seats at their next renewal. Daniel has also only scratched the surface of the MCP connection, which currently gives occasional users a way to pull enrichment through Claude Enterprise without holding a seat. “I haven’t had the time to mess around with the MCP very much to see what else it can do.”
Signalist and Clay stay in the stack. Signalist carries signal types Prospeo doesn’t have, and Clay is where Andiamo builds orchestration: webhooks, AI models, multi-step logic. Daniel treats that as deliberate design rather than a gap.
“If everything could live in one system, that’s the dream. But that’ll never be the reality.”
Daniel McAdams, Andiamo
His advice to anyone evaluating providers right now has little to do with data quality, which he treats as the price of entry:
“There are a lot of tools with cool bells and whistles, and then you start using them and they start to break. Even if they work well for a specific cause, you can’t integrate them into the other tools you use. That’s where companies make mistakes. Be wary of companies that don’t have working integrations, either natively or through an API or a webhook. I’ve definitely made mistakes doing that in the past, and I’m happy we’re in a place where Prospeo has been able to deliver on those things where others haven’t.”
